In the fall semester of my BFA, I took on the project of transforming J.R.R. Tolkien's classic fantasy novel, The Hobbit, into a visually engaging picture book. With the goal of bringing this beloved story to life for a younger audience, I was faced with the challenge of adapting the classic narrative and PRE-EXISTING world into a format that would be accessible and comprehensible.
